Cameron Hetherington is an experienced financial adviser and is the Director of Wealth Advisory. He joined the firm in February 2022 and brings more than a decade of experience in financial planning to the role. Cam works with individuals, couples, and business owners to bring clarity to their financial position and build strategies that hold up over the long term.

As Director of Wealth Advisory, Cam leads the firm’s Wealth Advisory division and works alongside The Practice’s business advisory and lending teams so clients receive joined up advice across every part of their financial life. He is closely involved in developing the firm’s advisers and in setting the standard for how advice is delivered.

Cam’s approach is built on developing, implementing, and then regularly reviewing comprehensive financial strategies. He starts by understanding what matters most to a client and what they want their future to look like, then aligns every financial decision to that picture. It is an ongoing partnership rather than a one off plan, and it is the reason his clients stay with him through career changes, business sales, and retirement.

His areas of focus include strategic financial planning, retirement planning, wealth creation, and superannuation strategies, including self managed super funds. Cam also advises on personal protection insurance, debt reduction, cash flow and advanced budgeting, gearing strategies, and financial modelling and scenario analysis.

Cam holds a Bachelor of Business (Economics and Finance) from RMIT, a Diploma of Financial Planning, and an Advanced Diploma of Financial Planning (AQF 6). He completed Ethics and Professionalism in Financial Advice through Kaplan Professional in 2025.

Outside of work, Cam will follow just about any sport going, though North Melbourne is the long-suffering allegiance. Most of his travel is planned around a game or a gig, and the rest of his time is spent at home with his partner Rachael and their dog Rafa.
